It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Hamilton Heights Huskies had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Warriors as they made off with a 55-31 victory. Hamilton Heights has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 22 points or more this season.
Hamilton Heights had a senior duo take command as Ella Hickok scored 28 points along with six steals and Camryn Runner scored 22 points along with four steals. Runner has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last 25 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Brown, who scored four points along with three steals.
Alyssa Anderson and Chloe Gaff certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Anderson scored eight points along with six rebounds and two blocks, while Gaff scored six points along with five rebounds.
The win was the 14th in a row for Hamilton Heights, bringing their record for this year to 24-2. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.6 points. As for Woodlan, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-9.
