The Camden County Wildcats put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Jenkins 53-31. Considering Camden County has won five contests by more than 21 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Leading Camden County to victory were J'Mya Albertie and Taylor Rietveld. Albertie scored 12 points along with 6 steals, while Rietveld scored 11 points along with 3 steals. The matchup was Rietveld's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Mahliya Reeder was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Camden County pushed their record up to 7-0 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 42.67 points. As for Jenkins, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Camden County will take on Glynn Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glynn Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 229th, while Camden County is ranked 16th). As for Jenkins, they will be playing at home against Islands at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Islands is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
