The Olmsted Owls will head out on the road to face off against the Riverside Frontiers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Friday, Olmsted came up short against The Park School of Buffalo and fell 73-64.
Meanwhile, Riverside didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca on Friday, but they still walked away with a 61-55 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Riverside.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaheim Foster, who scored 13 points. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Jaeckle, who scored ten points.
Olmsted's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Riverside, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-4.
Olmsted was able to grind out a solid win over Riverside in their previous meeting back in February, winning 53-43. Does Olmsted have another victory up their sleeve, or will Riverside turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
