Williams came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Mogollon Mustangs as they made off with an 11-0 victory. Considering the Vikings have won six games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Danika Howe made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Audrina Baldwin was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Sonia Lopez was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Williams always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .536. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mogollon only posted an OBP of .118.

Williams now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Mogollon, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Williams will venture away from home to challenge Bagdad at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mogollon, they will head out to square off against Hayden at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lobos will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
