Trinity Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 90-22 win over Whitewater at home. Trinity Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 24 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Trinity Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gabbie Grooms, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 assists. Grooms has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Bennett, who scored 25 points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 52-12, which was the final score in Riverdale's tilt against Troup County on Friday.
Trinity Christian has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Riverdale, their loss dropped their record down to 3-19.
