The Ashwaubenon Jaguars will square off against the Pulaski Red Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ashwaubenon is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
Ashwaubenon barely beat De Pere the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Jaguars' pitcher stepped up to hand the Redbirds a 7-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Berritt Herr made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up a single earned run any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Elly Kirst, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Crutcher, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
Ashwaubenon lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as De Pere didn't launched any home runs.
Meanwhile, Pulaski came up short against Green Bay Preble on Saturday and fell 7-2. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kianna Altendorf was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Ashwaubenon's win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Pulaski, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Ashwaubenon hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1 home runs per game. However, it's not like Pulaski struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Ashwaubenon came out on top in a nail-biter against Pulaski when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 5-3. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Red Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
