The biggest upset of the week belonged to Carsonville-Port Sanilac, who took down sixth ranked Carsonville-Port Sanilac, 32-27.
Caseville suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 56-0 loss to Deckerville. The Eagles had been ranked 25th, but fell to 26 following the defeat.
North Huron's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kyle Case threw for 91 and two touchdowns and Dustin Sieman had 54 yards receiving. On the ground Brandon Moore chipped in 147 yards. Justin Hatch helped North Huron's passing attack out by catching two balls for 26 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Case and Moore the Warriors have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Case leads the league in passing with 408 yards, while Moore has rushed for 1084 yards this season. Caseville's Chase Lowers leads the league in receiving yards with 361 on 15 catches.
The marquee game in North Central Thumb - South (8 Man) this week will be the clash between North Huron and Peck. The Warriors comes into the matchup ranked 14th in the state, while the Pirates ranks third.
North Huron was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in the league. The Warriors vanquished Michigan Lutheran 59-22 earlier in the week.
