Andrew Casagrande Turns in Season-Best Performance
Andrew Casagrande produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Pearce to the win on Friday. Casagrande picked up 187 receiving yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 52 yards.
Unfortunately for Dallas Jesuit, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Casagrande. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Casagrande saw the Rangers), he rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 88 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Pearce's probably not too fond of Peters given he always seems to get the better of them. When Peters last faced the Mustangs back in September of 2023, he threw for 329 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 36 yards and a touchdown.

Dallas Jesuit came up short on Friday despite Cade Gill delivering his best game to date. Gill wasn't messing around, forcing a fumble, making 13 total tackles (1.0 for loss), and defending a pass. The matchup was his third straight with five or more total tackles dating back to last season.
On the season, Gill has averaged 7 total tackles per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging four total tackles per game.
