Coral Academy of Science - Reno is 1-9 against West Wendover since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Thursday. The Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons will face off against the West Wendover Wolverines at 5:20  p.m. Hopefully Coral Academy of Science - Reno focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 22 on Friday.
 Winning is just a little bit easier when  you outrebound your opponent 19 to 8 on the offensive boards, a fact Coral Academy of Science - Reno proved. They enjoyed a cozy  47-32 win over Sierra Lutheran. The  win was just what Coral Academy of Science - Reno needed coming off of a  58-27 loss in their prior  game.
 Coral Academy of Science - Reno got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Kailyn Damasco out in front who  scored six points along with six  rebounds and five  steals. Damasco has been hot recently, having posted two or more  steals the last six times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Ava Thornton, who  scored four points along with 11  rebounds.
 Meanwhile,  West Wendover unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a serious blow against North Tahoe, falling  60-33. West Wendover has not had much luck with North Tahoe recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
 Coral Academy of Science - Reno pushed their record up to 12-13 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  at home. As for West Wendover, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9.
 Coral Academy of Science - Reno was able to grind out a solid  win over West Wendover in their previous meeting  back in January, winning  50-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Coral Academy of Science - Reno since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
