Sioux Central had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They strolled past Pocahontas with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 25-7. This was the first game for both teams, giving Sioux Central a 1-0 record and starting Pocahontas off at 0-1.
Next week, Sioux Central take on Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire at 7:00 PM. As for Pocahontas, they will face of against Southeast Valley.
