The Bison Cardinals suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Monday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 57-34 walloping at the hands of Dupree. Bison has struggled against Dupree recently, as their game on Monday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Bison's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rylee Veal, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. That was a full 47.1% of Bison's points, marking the ninth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colt Kopren, who scored five points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Bison's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Dupree, they pushed their record up to 4-4 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bison will take on Timber Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dupree won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Takini on January 23rd. Takini will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
