St. Frederick were able to grind out a solid victory over Sicily Island, winning 35-28. The success represented a nice turnaround for St. Frederick, who in their last game suffered a tough 0-34 loss.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 38 points the game before, Cedar Creek faltered in their matchup last Thursday. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-39 to Ouachita Christian. Cedar Creek were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-21.
