Grangeville have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They and Malad go head to head on Saturday at 1:00 PM in their first playoff contest of the year. Grangeville have bulldozed their previous four opponents, so Malad might have their hands full.
Grangeville put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season two weeks ago. They made easy work of Orofino and carried off a 52-27 win. The win was familiar territory for Grangeville, who now have eight in a row.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Malad lost to Aberdeen last Thursday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 16-66. Malad were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 8-46.
Grangeville's victory lifted them to 8-0 while Malad's defeat dropped them down to 2-6. We'll find out if Grangeville can add another positive mark to their record or if Malad can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Grangeville's step.
