The Pittsfield Generals stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. Everything went their way against East Longmeadow as Pittsfield made off with a 53-30 victory. The score was close at the half, but Pittsfield pulled away in the second half with 38 points.
Pittsfield's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charlotte Goodnow, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Goodnow has scored all season. Bre'Jai Ellerbee was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with four steals.
Pittsfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for East Longmeadow, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
Pittsfield has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. East Longmeadow does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
