They managed a 60-54 victory over Williston-Elko on Thursday. For Ridge Spring-Monetta, this counts as revenge for the 78-49 defeat Williston-Elko walked away with the last time they faced one another on January 2nd.
It was another big night for James Bosket, who scored 30 points along with six rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tykeem Martin, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Ridge Spring-Monetta's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Williston-Elko, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.
Ridge Spring-Monetta will head out on the road to square off against Wagener-Salley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wagener-Salley is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Williston-Elko, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Blackville-Hilda at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Blackville-Hilda is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
