Deer Valley waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They blew past the Cactus Cobras, posting an 84-53 win. The Skyhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Cactus still got an impressive performance from Xavier Ledet, who posted 22 points and three steals. Ledet has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aden Thiesse, who put up seven points and nine boards.

Deer Valley pushed their record up to 21-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points over those games. As for Cactus, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.
