Bridgeport Central's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kai Clarke, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Clarke hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Mikayla Kendrick, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Warde is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Bridgeport Central, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
