West Campus has gone a perfect 3-0 against Burbank recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Warriors will head out to square off against the Titans at 4:00 p.m. One thing working in West Campus' favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
On Monday, West Campus got the win against Armijo by a conclusive 16-3. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by ten runs or more this season.
Lucy Steinheimer made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2025.

In other batting news, West Campus got a massive performance out of K'Mari Cooley, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with five stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave Cooley a new career-high. Pearl Chima was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
West Campus always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .933. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Burbank was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 21-4 to Valley. The game snapped a strange streak: the last five times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.
West Campus is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.8 runs over those games. As for Burbank, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.
West Campus got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April against Burbank by a conclusive 20-8 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
