Dk Garza's Big Game Leads Alamo Heights over Victoria West
Dk Garza was instrumental in extending Alamo Heights's winning streak to seven on Friday. Victoria West had no answer to Garza as he rushed for 168 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards. Garza's longest rush was for an incredible 79 yards.

Underclassman Hank Hendrix came into Friday's matchup looking to prove himself and that's exactly what he did. He was dynamite on Friday, throwing for 460 yards and four touchdowns while completing 79.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 32 yards.
On the year, Hendrix has thrown 20 touchdowns (and and only 3 picks) while averaging 297.5 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 3.33 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 10.83 rushing yards.
