The Jackson County Generals will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Bluegrass United Bluehawks at 3:30 p.m. on December 28th. Jackson County will be strutting in after a win while Bluegrass United will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Jackson County beat Central Wise 60-52. The win was just what Jackson County needed coming off of a 49-26 defeat in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Bluegrass United came up short against East Carter on Friday and fell 52-41.
The match pitted two dominant players against one another in Allie McGuire and Kinsley Rutledge. Rutledge had a solid game and scored 15 points along with nine rebounds. Meanwhile, McGuire did her best for the losing side, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Jackson County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Bluegrass United, their loss dropped their record down to 11-3.
