The Boyertown Bears will head out on the road to face off against the Academy Park Knights at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Boyertown is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Thursday, Boyertown came up short against Pottsgrove and fell 53-42.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jack Greaves, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. He is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Braedyn Johnson, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Academy Park suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Chichester, falling 88-58. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Academy Park in their matchups with Chichester: they've now lost six in a row.
Boyertown has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Academy Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
