Everything went their way against Granville Christian Academy as Tree of Life Christian made off with a 53-33 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Tree of Life Christian has posted against Granville Christian Academy since January 26, 2021.
Tree of Life Christian had a senior duo take command as Ronald Amoah scored 14 points along with six rebounds and two steals and Micah Kemp scored 14 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kemp has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Waters, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Genoa Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a 53-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northside Christian. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Genoa Christian Academy in their matchups with Northside Christian: they've now lost four in a row.
Tree of Life Christian's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 23.6 points. As for Genoa Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
