The Scott Eagles lost against the Conner Cougars back in November of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Scott took a 55-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. Scott has not had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Xarek Sarakatsannis, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Griffin, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Scott's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Conner, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-14.
Scott will be playing at home against the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Conner, they will head out on the road to challenge the Royals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mason County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,378 points over their last 19 matches.
