Lincoln won against Greenland last Monday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Everything went the Wolves' way against the Elkins Elks as they made off with a 12-1 victory. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Elks recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Elkins, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8.

Coming up, Lincoln will head out to take on Farmington at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight. As for Elkins, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-2 win against Berryville on the 11th.
