The Bountiful Redhawks will challenge the Davis Darts at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Bountiful came out on top against Alta on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Redhawks put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 11-1 win. The victory was nothing new for the Redhawks as they're now sitting on five straight.

Dylan Carpenter made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Peyton Orchard was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Kamryn Rasmussen was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Bountiful was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Davis put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Weber a 15-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Darts in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won eight in a row.
Davis got a massive performance out of Jewel Korth, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles Korth has posted over her last 11 games. The team also got some help courtesy of Cambell Christensen, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Bountiful's record is now 13-10. As for Davis, their record now sits at 21-4.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Bountiful hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .365. However, it's not like Davis struggles in that department as they've averaged .410. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Bountiful suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Davis in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Redhawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
