Lawrence moved up to 165 from 196 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in West Jersey - Patriot. The Cardinals were able to make the jump by topping Hightstown 28-14.
Pemberton's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Dennis Clark threw for 54 yards and Asher Gardner had 24 yards receiving. On the ground Quincy Lambert chipped in 88 yards. Nate Brown helped Pemberton's passing attack out by catching one ball for 14 yards.
Burlington Township's Khalil Trotman and Mike Thomas have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Trotman has thrown for 673 yards this season, while Thomas, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 15 catches for 304 yards. Lambert from the Hornets leads the league in rushing with 381 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Princeton takes on the Falcons. As it stands, the Tigers are in fifth, while Burlington Township is in first.
Lawrence made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,189 from 7,332. The improvement came about via a 28-14 victory over the Rams last week.
