Pierce City put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season on Friday. They made easy work of Miller and carried off a 44-12 win. Pierce City were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Pierce City added further sheen to their flawless record, now 8-0. The loss dropped Miller's record to 6-2.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Pierce City will stay at home next week against Pleasant Hope at 7:00 PM. Pierce City are cruising in on a eight-game winning streak while Pleasant Hope are stumbling in off of eight consecutive losses. Miller will take on Marionville at home at 7:00 PM.
