The Arrupe Jesuit Generals lost against the SkyView Academy Hawks back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Arrupe Jesuit was beaten by SkyView Academy 63-29.
Several Generals players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Xavier Martinez, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead SkyView Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Markus Lloyd, who scored 19 points. The match was Lloyd's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Dove, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds.
Arrupe Jesuit bumped their record down to 1-1 with that loss, which was their third straight at home dating back to last season. As for SkyView Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arrupe Jesuit will take on Denver West at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Denver West is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. As for SkyView Academy, they will be playing at home against Woodland Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
