McGregor fell victim to Troy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 2-0. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

McGregor saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brylee Seward, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

McGregor's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 20-2. As for Troy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

While McGregor had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
