Corcoran lost against Strathmore on October 1st and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against  the Spartans, falling  3-0. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 While Corcoran ultimately came up short, they really made  Strathmore work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 33-31, 25-16,  25-18.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Strathmore to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Allisson Hernandez, who  had ten  digs and two  aces. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lily Valdez, who  had eight  digs.
Corcoran's loss dropped their record down to 13-18-3. As for Strathmore, their victory was  their seventh straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 22-7.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Corcoran is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Woodlake  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Strathmore will  square off against  rival Granite Hills  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
