Faith Baptist got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zech Gartrelle out in front who scored 15 points along with eight assists and five steals. It was the first time this season that Gartrelle posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Silas Mosey, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
Faith Baptist now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Rochester Hills Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Faith Baptist will face off against the at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Faith Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Rochester Hills Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Washtenaw Christian Academy and the are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
