Mercy Prep Academy claimed a resounding 60-28 win over Non Varsity Opponent on the road. The win was familiar territory for Mercy Prep Academy who now have four in a row.
Mercy Prep Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dylan Baker, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Baker is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's played. Eli Lawson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with nine rebounds.
Mercy Prep Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 79-185-1 record this season.
Mercy Prep Academy will head out on the road to take on Heritage Christian Athletics at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they will be playing at home against Johnson County Sports Association at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Johnson County Sports Association focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 last Friday.
