The Lightridge Bolts will head out on the road to face off against the Briar Woods Falcons at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Lightridge is no doubt hoping to put an end to an 11-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Friday, Lightridge suffered a rough 72-50 defeat at the hands of the Ram. Lightridge has not had much luck with the Ram recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, Briar Woods' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 50-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lightridge.
Lightridge has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Briar Woods, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
Lightridge was able to grind out a solid win over the Falcons in their previous meeting on Wednesday, winning 50-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lightridge since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
