Archbishop Carroll has gone a perfect 3-0 against Westminster Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated (Archbishop Carroll has three wins , while Westminster Christian has seven dating back to last season).
Last Friday, Archbishop Carroll made easy work of ABF Academy and carried off a 48-22 victory. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 35-8 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cowboys cut but never quite recovered from.

Archbishop Carroll's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Justin Matias led the charge by rushing for 111 yards and one TD. Matias is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 111 every time he's taken the field this season. Archbishop Carroll also got a significant boost from William Secola, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 113 yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Archbishop Carroll was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 441 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Archbishop Carroll didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of George Diaz and Dylan Galadza. Archbishop Carroll got some further help from Jonas Taylor: he picked up three sacks and made four total tackles.
Meanwhile, Westminster Christian got themselves on the board against BridgePrep Village Green on Friday, but BridgePrep Village Green never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 28-0 win over the Bulldogs. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 272nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 547th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
Westminster Christian's win came from a few key players Archbishop Carroll will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Anthony Vera, who threw for 162 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes.
One reason for the win was Westminster Christian's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Daniel Fernandez Jr was especially locked on to BridgePrep Village Green's QB and sacked him three times. Gianni Dalessio got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Archbishop Carroll's record now sits at 3-0-1. As for Westminster Christian, their record is now 6-0.
Archbishop Carroll strolled past Westminster Christian in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 36-22. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
