After taking the lead on a
Tyler Coleman touchdown pass to
Deandre House in the second quarter, the Golden Bears were up 7-0 at the half.
Hammond expanded its lead to 14 points entering the fourth quarter. HHS's lone score in the quarter came on a
Matt Stoughtenger touchdown run.
The Golden Bears also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 44-0.
With the win Hammond extended its winning streak to three games.
Hammond (3-0) goes up against Glenelg in a Howard County game matchup next week, while Oakland Mills (1-1) locks horns with Reservoir also in a Howard County game.
