Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thomas Jefferson). They were the clear victors by a 37-14 margin over the Aurora Central Trojans on Thursday. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

The victory got Thomas Jefferson back to even at 4-4. As for Aurora Central, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
