Rancho Mirage was, if nothing else, exciting.
With no major upsets, Westchester and Etiwanda each won a pair of games, Poly cruised and Columbia Christian won the game of the night with a 53-51 overtime win over De La Salle.

Columbia Christian 6-8 guard/forward Kameron Chatman, the nation's No. 36 recruit, scored a game-high 28 including the game-winning three pointer in a 53-51 overtime win over De La Salle at Rancho Mirage High School Thursday.

De La Salle senior Justin Lee gave the Spartans a brief 51-50 lead with 30 seconds left in overtime.

Citrus Hill's Joe Richard is a starter and co-captain despite wearing a prosthesis from below the right knee. The 6-foot-4, 170-pound forward was born with a congenital condition that deforms the tibia. At 15 months, his lower right leg was amputated and replaced with a prosthesis. Nine months later, he began playing basketball.
