Marlow took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They put the hurt on Sulphur with a sharp 50-27 win.
Marlow's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Parker Boyles, who scored 17 points. Mason Holding was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 8 rebounds.
Even though Lindsay has not done well against Purcell recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Lindsay pulled ahead with a 42-41 photo finish over Purcell.
Marlow's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Lindsay, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
