Kendall Yosten was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and nine unearned) runs off five hits. Yosten was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases.
Yosten wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Michael Peterson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.
The win was the third in a row for North East, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
