Boone has struggled against Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Boone lost, one person who can't be blamed is Cheo James. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points. James scored a full 31.3% of Boone's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joan Orta, who scored 8 points.
Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Elijah Reynolds out in front who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds. The contest was Reynolds' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Martay Barnes was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 7 rebounds.
Boone's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
