Southwest Christian Academy's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Garrett Memorial Christian Saints 17-5. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Southwest Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Garrett Memorial Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Southwest Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 19-10 win against Pulaski County HomeSchool on the 11th. As for Garrett Memorial Christian, they will host Trinity Christian at 3:30 p.m. on the 17th.
