Bonnabel was led to victory by La?Nyah Laneair and Anaiah Perry. Laneair scored 24 points, while Perry scored 32 points. Those 32 points set a new season-high mark for her.
Bonnabel's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for South Plaquemines, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bonnabel will take on Assumption at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Plaquemines, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Belle Chasse at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Belle Chasse is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
