On Saturday Moanalua take on Nanakuli at 2:15 PM. Moanalua are coming into the match hot, having won seven in a row.
Last Friday, Moanalua put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They put the hurt on Waipahu with a sharp 29-5 victory. Moanalua were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Nanakuli came within a touchdown against Radford, but wound up with a 22-29 loss.
Moanalua's win lifted them to 7-0 while Nanakuli's loss dropped them down to 0-9. We'll find out if Moanalua can add another positive mark to their record or if Nanakuli can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Moanalua's step.
