On Thursday, the Mililani Trojans faced the Kamehameha Kapalama Warriors in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Mililani walked away with a 51-43 win over Kamehameha Kapalama. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Mililani as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mililani to victory, but perhaps none more so than Roman Gabriel, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. Timothy Dorn was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Mililani's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Kamehameha Kapalama, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
Mililani and Kamehameha Maui will face off at 12:00 p.m. on December 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Kamehameha Kapalama will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against San Marcos at 5:00 p.m. on December 28th.
