Mill Creek didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Brooks Green.

A big part of Buford's win came down to the chemistry between Dayton Raiola and his top target Torre Costin. Raiola threw for 129 yards and one TD while Costin rushed for 49 yards and one score. The dominant performance also gave Raiola a new career-high in rushing yards (28).

Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Mill Creek has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 175.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Buford struggles in that department as they've been averaging 207.9 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Mill Creek suffered a grim 32-7 defeat to Buford in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can the Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
