The Timnath Cubs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 56-16 victory over Wellington. The win was a breath of fresh air for Timnath as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Timnath got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Luke Jacobson out in front who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Bron Southworth, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Timnath's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Wellington, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Timnath and Windsor Charter Academy will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Windsor Charter Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Wellington will be home for the holidays to greet Jefferson Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
