Goodrich posted their closest win since September 30, 2024 on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers, sneaking past 2-1. The Martians haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Goodrich had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-14, 15-10.

This is the second loss in a row for Croswell-Lexington and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Goodrich didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Notre Dame Prep on the 22nd. As for Croswell-Lexington, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Morrice on the 22nd.
