Fairmont came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Blue Earth Buccaneers by a score of 65-58. That's two games straight that the Cardinals have won by exactly seven points.

Fairmont is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Blue Earth, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-4 record.
