The Woodland Bobcats lost against the Wadley Bulldogs back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Woodland was beaten by Wadley 56-21. Woodland has struggled against Wadley recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Woodland's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was David Noles, who rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown.
Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Wadley, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Woodland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wadley will be playing at home against Cedar Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cedar Bluff is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
