Basketball Recap: Saint Stephen's Episcopal Takes a Loss

Saint Stephen's Episcopal lost against Imagine School at North Port back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons fell 57-45 to the Imagine School at North Port Sharks. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Imagine School at North Port's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zahmir Jackson, who went 8 for 11 on his way to 18 points and four steals. Jackson's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Lafortune, who posted eight points in addition to ten boards and five steals.

Saint Stephen's Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Imagine School at North Port, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saint Stephen's Episcopal will take on Evangelical Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Imagine School at North Port, they will face off against Booker at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Imagine School at North Port knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Booker likes a good challenge.
